The ISO 22000 standard was adopted by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 2005. The standard represents a food safety management system and includes elements of the HACCP system "Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points"

The HACCP system was developed by the World Health Organization (WHO)

The requirements of the ISO 22000 (HACCP) standard apply to manufacturing enterprises throughout the food chain, from food product manufacturers to raw materials, feed, and food packaging producers, enterprises that transport and store food products, as well as retail and food service establishments
